Simon Marshall-Wilson (He/Him)
Simon has over 20 years experience in the retailer Marks and Spencer, 14 of this in HR roles. He has worked across Learning & Talent and has been an HRBP for over 6 years. In addition to heading up different projects, in the last 2 years his leadership focus has been on the Inclusion & Diversity Strategy across Stores, Support Centres and Distribution.
<span id="test" class="kool-class" style="color: #00c0c3;" fs-test-element="test">Through the many roles throughout his career, culture and change has always been at the heart of this. Much of this has been collaborating with senior leaders and colleagues to create a more inclusive culture for employees and customers. </span>
His personal lived experiences have helped him along the way to be a more inclusive and supportive individual as a colleague, leader, husband and father.
Simon started at The Equal Group in 2023 and heads up the Consultancy Team across the Private, Public and Third Sectors. His role here is to set the strategic direction for consultancy, coaching, developing his team and driving new business opportunities. He is also accountable for a number of key client projects, collaborating with clients across different industries. Simon leads on a number of internal projects for The Equal Group through utilising his HR experience.
He has a keen focus on self development and has recently passed his CIPD upgrade from Chartered to Chartered Fellow, in order to build his HR Professional credentials.
