Convex Inclusion Index Survey
FAQs
Why do I need to respond?
It isn’t mandatory to fill out the survey. However, this helps us to understand the representation and experience of inclusion within Convex. From this a report detailing the findings and any recommendations will be provided. Convex have commissioned The Equal Group to conduct a survey:
- To understand the current representation in the Convex workforce.
- To help understand where colleagues are or are not feeling included within Convex, and why.
- To provide Convex with a report that details the issues and provides recommendations for improvement.
Why is the survey only open to UK and Bermuda employees?
Luxembourg - in accordance with employment laws that govern the Luxembourg office, we cannot gather sensitive personal data, such as demographic data.
US - As this team is new and still relatively small, the data would need to beaggregated into another office which could impact the outcome of the survey.
Third party colleagues - we can only collect information on Convexians. In addition, the survey will not be sent to any Convexians on Family Leave duringthe three week survey period.
Will my responses reveal who I am?
No, The Equal Group will be analysing the data and will anonymise any data before sharing the analysis with the Convex.
We have requested email addresses to confirm that all responses are Convex staff and to be able to delete data should any staff member wish to exert their right to be forgotten under GDPR. Only the data controller at The Equal Group will have access to email addresses and will not share email addresses with the data processor.
Where there are less than 5 respondents from a specific background, The Equal Group will suppress this data to protect anonymity.
How will the data be used?
The Equal Group will create an online dashboard showing the aggregated results with the ability to compare against 2021. The Equal Group will create a report with recommendations for Convex, highlighting both key positives and potential gaps within representation. The report will also show areas of good practice for inclusion as well as areas for improvement.
What is the difference between leadership, management and employee?
- Leadership consisted of those who report into the GEC.
