Transgender Day of Visibility takes place on March 31st each year to celebrate trans and non-binary people and raise awareness of discrimination faced by trans people worldwide. This year the campaign #IAmEnough and #YouAreEnough aims to provide affirmations and empowerment and raise awareness and allyship for the trans community.
Despite some employers in the UK making progress towards inclusion in their workplaces, LGBT people still face discrimination, exclusion and barriers at work. One in eight trans people (12%) have been physically attacked by customers or colleagues in the last year because of being trans whilst more than a third of LGBT staff (35%) have hidden or disguised that they are LGBT at work in the last year because they were afraid of discrimination (Stonewall).
