Alice is an experienced EDI professional having worked as Diversity & Inclusion Consultant, covering the four European offices of Sidley Austin LLP.  The role was created for Alice and at her request, having previously spent over a decade as a lawyer in the Corporate Restructuring team at Sidley.

Alice is passionate about creating inclusive working environments in which the benefits of diversity of thought can be embedded.  Workplaces where equality, diversity and inclusion are more than just the latest buzz-words, but are the catalyst for enduring culture change and healthier workplaces.

Alice has extensive client and stakeholder management experience in a number of different roles, delivering complex and nuanced projects.  She now applies these skills and her wider corporate knowledge to bring together the divergent resources and voices that are needed for large organisations to deliver ambitious EDI strategies, that truly make a difference to employees’ sense of belonging.  Alice has an MSc in Organisational and Social Psychology from LSE, where her prize-winning dissertation focused on solicitor perceptions of EDI initiatives in City law firms.  She combines research skills with behavioural science and psychology, to provide robust, evidence-led solutions.  In line with her belief that inequality is embedded in modern society from a young age, she is Co-chair of governors at a local primary school where she advocates for measures that will improve education for all,

Since joining TEG in May 2022:

• Alice has been involved in delivering thought-provoking and engaging training workshops for a diverse range of clients;

• Alice believes in fostering agency so that EDI solutions are neither seen as top-down, nor bottom-up. Relational solutions that bring together leadership teams and employee networks are empowering and deliver long-lasting change strategies.

• Alice has extensive experience drafting, and managing the subsequent implementation of, EDI strategies and initiatives.

Alice is adept at identifying gaps in strategy and providing advice to ensure organisations can implement innovative EDI programmes, that deliver measurable results.
